Adams Sports Academy General Information

Adams Sports Academy is the central basketball hub to gain a competitive edge through the game, while offering other rental services to the community. Players will have the opportunity to improve their overall game through our extensive training program and utilize our equipment to get extra reps year-round. A list of our services is below!

AFA Basketball Training

For serious players who want expert training on the court. These sessions will help athletes become fundamentally sound in all areas and can be customized to position specific training. We offer 1 on 1, Semi-Private, and Group Training!

Open Gym

Adams Sports Academy will offer Open Gym hours for players to shoot in our gym! Rental spaces are available for sports teams to utilize practice areas as well. Click the link below to see the hours offered throughout the year and reserve your spot today!

Pickleball

Adams Sports Academy now offers pickleball memberships! Don’t rely on the weather! Come play year-round in our indoor facility! Click below for more information!

AAU Basketball Programs

Interested in joining our AAU Basketball teams? All interested players will be required to attend a tryout session each season. Whether your athlete is competitive or causal, we have options for both!

  • 4th Annual Elite Ball Handling Clinic

    Come Join Adams Sports Academy for its 4th Annual Elite Ball Handling Clinic!

    This clinic is for 4th-8th grade boys and girls! All skill levels are welcomed to attend.

    Players will learn the fundamentals of dribbling the basketball while also having fun!

  • Big Man Post Basketball Camp

    Adams Sports Academy will host its 1st Annual Big Man Basketball Camp!

    The camp is for players down on the low block, we will teach the proper footwork for scoring down low! This camp is for 9th-12th grade boys.

  • Combo Point Guard Basketball Camp

    04/26/25 2:00PM-4:00PM

    ASA’s Guard Camp will help your athlete on the court with their decision making, ball handling, and finishes at the rim.

    This camp is for 6th-8th grade boys and girls looking for an edge to becoming an elite on court commander.

    Players will learn the necessary skills to become an elite guard on the floor!

Notable Alumni

Chance Garvin

Chance Garvin was Coach Adams first outstanding player at Lake Roosevelt High School in Grand Coulee, Washington back in 2015. Chance helped the Raiders become a dominate program during his time in High School. He earned first team all-state as a senior, he was a four-time first team all-conference player and was the conference MVP his senior year. Chance earned a walk on scholarship for the University of Idaho Vandals Men’s basketball team, where he played competitively for 3 years.

Jillian Herres

Jillian Herres was a proud member of AFA’s 1 on 1 training program. A resident of Pomeroy WA, she would commute to training 2 hours round trip for a whole year while showing up 30 minutes early to get extra reps on the court! Her dedication and hard work helped her become a standout varsity athlete for the Pirates. She accepted an offer to play college basketball for Blue Mountain Community College in Pendelton, OR, where she continues giving great effort on the court.

Kase Wynott

Kase Wynott was a member of AFA Basketball in its infancy back in 2021 and joined our 1 on 1 training program. Coach Adams never saw a player who gave so much effort into every drill on the court and the kind of player that was humble but hungry to learn. Kase attended powerhouse Lapwai High School and was a highly touted player all 4 years. He shocked the national airwaves by breaking the state of Idaho career scoring record! Kase accepted a scholarship to Washington State University Men’s basketball program.

Ian Hillman

Ian was one of the first members of AFA’s inaugural program and joined the group training program as well as the 1 on 1 training program to improve his all-around game and to play at the next level.an Hillman was a standout basketball player for Moscow High School Bears program. A 6’6 athletic player with the ability to play multiple positions on the court. Ian was coached by Coach Mario while he was on the boys’ basketball coaching staff for the bears during the 2022-2023 season. Ian accepted an offer to play collegiate basketball for Big Bend Community College.
